Our story
Katie
I started my career as an engineer, moved into product, and picked up pottery a few years ago. I never saw myself as creative, but it gave me an outlet I never knew I needed, and I love seeing what I can build with my hands. Pottery pushed me to be more flexible and showed me there can be beauty in things changing along the way. I started these events to share that feeling with other people and let them experience it, too.

I spent the last 14 years working in very polished positions for government officials and in corporate sales. My friends would all consider me “THE” Type-A friend of the group, who is always planning parties, organizing events, scheduling the reservations, and crafting an entire travel itinerary for a girl’s trip. I’ve never seen myself as naturally artistic, but have a musical background and love anything I can put my aesthetic touch on — like fashion and interior design.
For years, I had been looking to work in a capacity where I can express my more creative and authentic self. Having the opportunity to build community through hosting events, creating unique themes for each one, and bringing my ideas and vision to life is what makes this experience so fulfilling.
